You clearly didn’t because you missed this part…
i.e. the emanating power would be added to all of the Templar Relics, Scoundrel Tokens and Enchantress Focuses. The reason for these items being selected is because they are follower-only. The hero doesn’t have a slot to equip them and, as followers are only permanently available to solo heroes, that ensures the emanation only happens in solo games. You don’t have to replace any of your current selection of emanating powers, as this new power would be on a follower-specific item that doesn’t currently have an emanation.
