I’ve played a single normal Portal and within 99% i want to go to next level. I always came out where I’m from.
So i Have to kill some “little” enemies like Skelletors to get the Endboss, but have to search all over the level.

I believe they’re experiencing that bug where you click on the entrance to the next Level, but the screen “blinks” and you’re still standing at the same place of the Level you just cleared.
It’s rare. I haven’t seen it reported in a long time. And there’s no workaround other than to leave the game and try again.

My bad. I missed out that part. 
I’ve got that same bug now! I was running a rift called Counselor’s Flight. Killed everything in the first three levels and was at the entrance to Counselor’s Flight level 4. That entrance is bugged and would not let my though to the next level. I was at 91% complete!
