D3 season character created and was actually level 30 or so before running weekly challenge with 2 others on Series X. Reward didn’t show up so did the weekly again solo but still not there. I’m on 3 leader boards for it but no reward. Major slowdown to new season.

I don’t know if it’s your problem.but I’ve noticed on xbox if I start the game before the season starts I can’t claim the challenge rift cache.
It’s not just you, Xbox Series X here. This happens every single season start. Challenge rift reward never shows up to claim until you complete the week 2 rift. Week one absolutely bugged and is never claim-able.
Just to make sure that I’m understanding what you are saying:
- you start your seasonal character.
- you then go and play the CR
you cannot claim the CR cache?
You’re not running the CR first and then starting the seasonal character, right?
Are you inferring that if you play the game before season start (any character, NS), and then the season starts, you roll up a seasonal character, and then do the CR, you can’t claim the CR cache?
I’m on PS4, I have NEVER seen this happen once, not since the introduction of CRs.
I start the game before the season starts.
I check out the challenge rift so I can do the challenge rift faster after season start, I have never finished the challenge rift until after the season starts.
Once the season starts I make and log into a seasonal character.
I go get the kanai’s cube.
I do the challenge rift.
I log back into My seasonal character.
The challenge rift cache is on the pedestal, but I can’t get it.
This has happened a couple times.This season I made sure to start the game after the season started so I got the challenge rift cache.

Sounds like you are doing everything right then. I have never seen this happen on PS4. All of the reports of this problem on the console sub-forums have been for XBOX players only. There has to be some XBOX bug for the game causing this.
What happens if you create a 2nd seasonal character after doing the CR? Can it see the CR cache? Can it access it?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
