Cease and Desist order To D2R hackers

Edit - When you say “no posts have gone missing” that is incorrect. Myself, Geezer and Shadow all had posts removed. Not a big deal, it’s just tiresome because there was nothing in those posts that wasn’t widely and publicly available. No exposure whatsoever to anything you couldn’t get in the kotaku article itself clicking through some links a few times. Ergo, since the kotaku link is still up, that same information that was deleted is still right there, a few clicks away. It’s just odd. But whataver, done is done.

Edit #2 - Your interpretation of that green text comment was also misconstrued. Everyone knows there’s no mod power. It had nothing to do with mod powers. I couldn’t reply directly - it wasn’t meant for you but this comment is locked as a reply to you and I can’t create a new one lol. It’s all kind of comical. No worries.

And it’s actually kind of the opposite of what you were thinking, I think MVPs should be given some basic moderation powers - not full, but enough to unburden the CMs. From an older post:

My guess would be they have some corporate policy on this but I’m confident these forums would dramatically improve if MissCheetah and/or others were given a few mod powers for at least pruning dupes (and letting posters know why), pruning 100% clear codes of conduct violations, and so on. CM’s just have too much going on and more important things to do imo than worry about basic forum modding.
