Cause for crashes (to desktop)

I feel like the game has a memory leak of some sort. Memory usage kind of grows until the game eventually crashes. Creating a new game every now and then when rifting “resets” it. Obviously the memory size increases as you explore, diff mob types, maps, etc., but shouldn’t it “release” those assets in memory once not in use or after a certain amount of time?

When I check memory usage, from the start it’s about 1.8gb, by about an hour later of GR runs (without creating a new game) it’s up to about 6.8gb… then eventually it’ll crash. If I make a new game, then it must release old assets or something and memory usage goes back down to about 2gb.

Edit: I’m 100% speculating on this theory as that may be intended.
