What am I doing wrong here? My transmutes keep failing. I’ve tried feet, hands, wrists. I’ve already upgraded my weapon. Idk why I can’t upgrade anything else.

- Lv 75 legendary gem
- 70 Set item
- 3 Flawless Royal topaz
The item to be upgraded cannot be worn and must be of Ancient (or Primal) quality. Further, you must have the necessary bounty/craft materials.

Thanks. My set pieces aren’t ancient or primal.

All of the items I Augment are equipped. I’ve never had to remove them to Augment them.
Now, you do have to remove them to Sanctify them. But, only for this Season 27.
You’re not using the correct item to Augment.
As @DeadlyMouse stated: Only Ancient or Primal items can be Augmented.
Your items should be:
- Rank 75 Legendary Gem
- Level 70 ANCIENT or PRIMAL Set item
- 3x Flawless Royal Topaz
Your Weapon has been Sanctified. And Sanctified items are considered Primal items.
At your current Trust Level you have to post links as Preformatted Text.
How to Post Links

- Select the link you just pasted and click the ˂/˃ button on the Reply Editor toolbar.

That’s a difference between PC and console, then.
Sorry. I didn’t think to check for your Armory Profile. But, @Haildodger is playing on PC. (My post was mostly meant for their benefit).
