The only people really getting to do the season theme are Twitch streamers that leech keys from their communities all day. Outside of that, nobody else has access to the season theme 24/7.
Guessing they’ll back track and give THE REST OF US access to do the season theme towards the end of the season when they realize how dead it is.
Twitch streamers also literally ruined the D2R ladder for most of the rest of us non streamer players as well, and blizzard thanked them for doing it on twitter. Seems like a bad idea to please only 0.01% of your playerbase at the expense of the rest. I know 92% of my huge friend list have been offline since the ladder was ruined and d3 s26 was a failure.
this along with streamers getting priority log in during releases while the rest of us sit in queue for hours, and i literally believe there’s possibly a hidden streamer bonus drop toggle for drops im assuming, because i and everyone i talk to do not get that kind of rng drops we see streamers getting all the time. i dont really care about all that that much, but it’s gone a bit too far with the d3 season theme and the d2r ladder race imo.
Maybe a broken keyboard? Over on EU, I pressed Shift + O to get to the Clans / Communities window, clicked on Communities, and typed in “echoing” into the search. The top two Communities had over 300 and 400 members in them, with 20+ online. Those communities are specifically for sharing Echoing Nightmares. Isn’t there anything like this on the US servers?
Streamers advantage is a known problem in PoE too. Streamers getting better drops etc, this has to stop with D4. I demanded many times in the past an auditing regulator for ALL chance mechanics to be put that is to oversee whether players run equal and the game is fair.
Do you think that there is a special switch that gets turned on to give streamers better drops than regular players? Like, do you honestly think that’s a thing?
This is conformation bias. Someone as…smart…as you should know what that is.
Not the dumbest thing I’ve read all day, but it’s early and I am sure you’ve got something queued up.
In poker we called it the “doom switch” - when the software starts eating back your EV+ streak.
Every game that has chance mechanics has to be overseen by an independent company. This rule has to be applied to computer games too, just as with gambling.
How is a random number generator a P2W mechanic? Did you hurt yourself with that reach? Or do you have a fundamental misunderstanding on how this game works?
Unless you can provide actual evidence that PoE provides better droprates for streamers, and likewise Blablabla with his ludicrous D3 claim, you all are just pushing anecdotal BS.
