If I augment a piece of gear for my necro and use rubies instead of topaz will that help my survivability? I’m pushing gr80 wth Trag jesseth mages set
Adding STR or DEX will increase your armour so, yes, technically it will improve your toughness and recovery. However, I’m pretty sure you’d be a lot better off augmenting with INT for the extra damage it gives you and trying to get more toughness from other sources, e.g. you could have gear pieces with the +armour affix on them rather than all resist (which you’ve already got a lot of, as you get INT/10 from your main stat).
Have to agree, better to augment with INT and if you want more toughness, socket rubies or emeralds into the gear.
