This is a janky issue that seems to happen often so I imagine people know what it is about.
I don’t know if there’s anything I can do client-side, but I have a good internet connection that I used professionally as well, and there’s nothing in my end that should cause this, I even tried two different PCs so I’m leaning to think the servers are at blame.
Which wouldn’t surprise me, the D3 Asia server runs like garbage.
No… we have to wait for Blizzard to fix it.

Try it now… mine just updated this time.
The records I did yesterday were not restored however… so they have to be done again.
In my case, it doesn’t matter, but for others…
It only seems to affect some of the servers… i.e. some servers will record the gRift record correctly while others won’t.
Need Blizzard to take a look (or more than a look most likely) and fix it.
There is no telling which server is which… if the server does not correctly record a gRift, then quit and restart game. This will give you another server in the server pool. Unfortunately, there is no way to know in advance which one is good or bad… you need to try to make a record.
