A little from column A and a little from column B.
I re-read KillerProc’s post. All the information is there though written succinctly.
Clearly OP was thinking that D3’s extracted powers worked similarly to the way they do in D4.
Like most communication, there are things that both sides could do better…
- the party/s giving the information often need to do more work to communicate in a way the reader will get the message, not just hear a reply. As stated, KillerProc’s post has all the info required though it’s written succinctly so OP may not have clicked with such a message. TBH, we probably needed that first reply from OP to understand that they needed a more detailed post than what KillerProc wrote. Took a few attempts but Leviathan eventually got there.
- the party/s receiving the information can often benefit from not making assumptions, not approaching the information provided with a predetermined conclusion already in mind, and taking the time to dissect the information given to them. I didn’t get the impression OP did this… it actually seemed they had skipped KillerProc’s post which might not be the case but…
And then OP asks…
To me it doesn’t seem like what KillerProc wrote was acknowledged at all.
Either way, the conversation reached the desired conclusion and that’s what matters.
