A couple of Rend questions

I have a couple of questions:
Does Lamentation stack Rend casts as well as Ambo’s WW Rends? So you can have 2 Rends or 2 Ambo’s or one of each?
It appears that Ambo’s only applies all the Rend damage in 1 sec to the Rends applied by WW, and not Rends cast normally. Is that correct?
So it appears that there is no benefit in casting Rend more than twice on any monster?

Lamentation lets you stack 2 rends of any hc / ambo combo, but not 2 of each.

Ambo’s 1 second effect applies to hc rends as well as ambo rends.

So you can cast Rend once a second to get the full effect in that time?

Yes, though your rends overwrite one another. If you have 2 hc rends running and then you ww, your hc rends get overwritten with ambo rend. I think Free put links to the testing i did on this stuff in the Whirlrend guide.

Cast rend twice per second

I have been able to cast 3 rends per Taeguk drop off in between WW refreshing. Just don’t lose track of ground-stomp/furious charge falling off. I am starting to think that heavy area damage with triple casts is higher damage than just double casting and hitting WW (it is safer, though).
