I just can’t anymore Free. This is just so… typical. I called it, when the PTR notes came out. Super stoked for the PTR patch tempered with an experienced “let’s wait for the final patch notes”. But never, not in a million years, did I expect to see this absolute kick in the face. Words can’t even express how absolutely furious I am right now. Just done.

first off thanx to Free and all other barbs who helped him for your time and effort trying to get your barbs in a position in a place where barbs could play all aspects of game in a manner you most enjoy Sorry your efforts was squashed. I still want to go back to an old favorite ww barb. I play mostly solo and dont push so i guess i can do season journey easily as ww right?

Only ONE CM, she gets sick after Blizzcon, no one replace her, no one care, zero communication, nothing. She comes back, posts a message that is 100% not sincere, flat out coming from the book “How to lie to your customers and make them believe you care about their opinion, in 10 lessons”, which she probably was given and told to post as it was.
And now, she is posting a message, herself saying it will be her last, because she “has to cope with the toxicity”, on REDDIT, on ***** REDDIT ! Not even on the OFFICIAL forums of the game, no, on REDDIT, a third party forum.
I’m sorry but this is disrespect at it’s highest.
Not only this posts is not here, on the OFFICIAL website, but on top of that, our ONLY CM is essentially running away.
Yep, great, very classy. This is what Blizzard thinks about you: you are nothing, literally nothing, you are not even worth interacting with, you are “toxic”.
Just look at some recent movies, like Terminator: Woke fate, or TV shows like “Batwokemen”, who are tanking HARD, because of their woke agenda and their blatant mistreatment of the public, look at Joker in comparison, who just sold a movie to people without lecturing them, calling them “toxic” or flat out insulted them with words finishing by -ist/-phobe.
Go on Blizzard, keep treating your customers like this, keep calling them “toxic” because they dare to ask some change, and dare to show their unhappiness when you make others changes that are rejected, keep showing your customers you absolutely don’t care of them or their opinions.
Keep it, keep acting like this.
But don’t you dare acting surprised if Diablo 4 tanks hard.
Gamers are usually treated with the utmost disrespect and are despised more or less by everyone across the board, despite the gaming industry being one, if not the most successful in the last decades and breaking records year after year.
Gamers are used to this, we all have been more or less treated poorly because we are gamers, so at the end, we don’t care, we know video games are something much deeper than what these people will ever be able to comprehend, we know we are not alone, that we have friends, brothers, with whom we can share our passions.
But if we are patient, our patience is not limitless, being treated badly by the general population, the medias, etc, it’s one thing, being treated badly by the very people who make the games we buy, it’s a whole different thing.
Ask Ubisoft, ask Electronic Arts, ask Bethesda, ask them about their years of mistreatment and abuses of their players, their customers, ask them about the ongoing battles to outlaw loot boxes in various countries, ask them how they feel, why they feel they need to spread flat out lies in front of national parliaments about this, ask them why they feel the need to call players to their help, the exact same players they have fooled, wronged and despised for years, ask their shareholders how they feel, ask Ubisoft how their shares are going these days.
Ask yourselves, Activision-Blizzard, why World of Warcraft is collapsing, why you have provided the WORST expansion ever with Bfa, and dared to say you were very proud of this thing, so much that it costed you at least half of the remaining people who still played this game, myself included, because after Legion, you thought you were good, you were forgiven the insult WoD was, you were not.
Ask yourselves why CDProject Red is so loved in comparison and why Cyberpunk 2077 is setting to become a major hit and a game changer in the industry.
Don’t pretend to be surprised if Diablo 4 tanks hard, you will be the only responsible for this.

If there was no buff to Lamentation (or any Barb stuff for that matter) during PTR, Barb community would lament “another patch where Barbs are garbage” but knowing a new set and potential new items/buffs (based on the current Monk/Crus stuff) were coming with their new set soon™…
Nobody would have played it on PTR, just Crus/Monk…Free and the others would post a little about being unhappy, but hopeful with new things coming…
Probably would have saved Free/Pro/et al a lot of heartache and a shizzton of headaches.
Feel for the Barbs…and sure hope nobody looks at S19 clears with the insane buffs for any kind of feedback on performance.

just looked at eu barb clears…a guy with almost 7k paragon cleared a 126 with rend, no time left - thats hardly competative with everything else
it’s a joke that the difference between barb and wiz was 15 gr’s last season, that’s HUGE - now crusader will also destroy barbs in performance…don’t get me wrong i’m happy for the crusaders but why is barb not allowed to be half decent???
I dont particularly care about the Rend nerf one way or the other (overall I think there is not enough nerfing in D3 balancing, but that of course doesn’t mean this one was a good nerf).
But damn, very nice post.
The nerf has killed the ww build for sure. I compared wiz chant at near same para as me and there still doing 15 lvls more. Why did blizz nerf it so bad? This is really sad.

I guarantee Ulma could clear a 150 with the Crusader set.
Blizzard “overshot” it on WhirlRend though boys. Not Crusader. Despite my napkin math proving 145+ was a guarantee for the new AoV set.

I had already made up mind to play Crusader after I saw the BlizzCon changes.
But they’ll probably over nerf that into the ground now too.
