I am playing from Bengaluru, India connecting to America server. Had no issue till now since the start of the season.
From 2 days, i get disconnected every few mins with 1016 error making it impossible to play.
My internet is fine as no other games doesn’t disconnect and all games i connect to an American server.
Please help.
Edit - 1: I tried connecting and playing on European server and it was perfect without any disconnect and green ping.
Looks like an issue with American server.
No, as lots of other people playing on the US server are not affected, it would tend to suggest that the issue is with a network node somewhere between your house and Blizzard’s US servers that isn’t part of the route between your house and Blizzard’s EU servers. That’s why there’s a stickied thread at the top of the forum…
…so, carry out the suggested WinMTR Test and post the results which will not only show which nodes your traffic is going through, but also the latency between nodes and any packet loss.
