It is possible man, lclama has like approximately 2k viewers on his twitch stream, if 10% of those viewers participate in the soj donation event, they could conduct about 2 diablo walks man… It’s definitely technically possible. I’m not sure about dbrunski and other well known D2 streamers tho, just using him as a guage.

Without those streamers there would be virtually no SoJs on the market, and a single SoJ would be worth much more than a Ber.
How many SoJs have you sold to Charsi? 0. Me? 0. My brother who also plays this game? 0 as well. Nobody in his right mind would sell something so valuable and cross his fingers he’s going to be online on the right server at the right time.
So, looking at the bigger picture, those streamers are making the SoJ prices drop.
imagine a well known streamer can get around 2k people to farm all at the same time to get 1 item and donate to them that increases the chance of spawning a clone exponentially. Correct me if im wrong i dont think randoms can actually agree to farm much less surrender a rare ring to 1 person just to spawn a clone, it takes too much organization and solos just like us whether you admit it or not have tons of trust issues. I think these streamers getting annis for the community are doing more harm than good.
There’s pros and cons to it, I’d say. Imagine no one organize such an event, nobody would ever bother parting their soj to charsi which makes diablo walk impossible to happen. Who in the right mind like you or me would just casually sell a soj to NPC hoping that others would follow suit, so such a scenario, flooding the market with annis mean that other players get to have a chance to purchase it too. Whether it is utterly overpriced or not, it is essentially up to individual’s consent to price and procure it too.
price is going to go down a lot… sold mine ill buy a cheaper 1 later. for all those complaining about the economics being screwed up by annis flooding market… its not even close to jsp bringing billions of currency from a different game to this 1… drop in the bucket compared to that lol
I’m leaning more towards the pro side of it as I get to complete my dream build earlier (despite, buying it early means I’m getting a very overpriced piece) even tho I don’t get to experience the real diablo walk event. I’m however pretty sure my budget smiter can solo it no problem tho.
