Why raise Mlvl and ruin melee builds when you can just rework Xp penalty and make monsters more difficult through playercount like mechanic

Melee ( Barbarians in particular ) need a big AR boost, in general. Its unfortunate to require angelic set jewelry for (still insufficient) AR Boost. Though, there are weapons choices with Ignores Targets Defense for PVM.

Buffed weapon base damage would also help negate the lack of sufficient AR for melee class, as well as balance the other item choices with grief. See my last post here

I idea of Nerfing Grief

With the addition of new high-level enemy terror zones, increasing the base damage of ALL weapons by roughly 2.8x ( possibly more for 2 hand weapons ) ( bringing phase blade to 98 base damage which allows a comparable damage to enhanced damage options)) no longer seems to be unreasonable.
