It is about respecting the original art, some museum cover naked women in ancient paintings and I find that equally bad, we were all born naked and being beautiful is not a crime. And I don’t play the original game because i vought the REMASTER not the REMAKE.
I don’t think it affects the gameplay, never did. And you can put your suggestions where the sun never shines. If you think the original amazon was porno you clearly have deep issues.
You do not have to look at a character to be upset. It’s the fact that the Amazon you control running around looks like William Defore when she took off her helm is enough.
If Disney commissioned a star war novel of side story of dark Vader and in it, the author detailed that dark Vader liked to wear bikini and cross play as Princess Leia , star war fans will be upset as well even if they technically cannot see him.
The amazon face looks terrible and the animation looks very limp. The original animation was very energetic and had the spear/bow at the ready, not dragging it along.
Saying that women can be warriors only if they look like men is sexist against women. There are many cases of women fighting alongside men or on their own, the nordic shieldmaiden, the Amazons, and they looked like women.
Currently the amazon face looks like a man. Please fix.
In other news, and since Blizzard will clearly not do anything about the character designs, the modding community already restored original clothing on the Assassin and Amazon as well as making an Amazon redesigned face.
No. She doesn’t look like a ninja. She looks like a shoe in because she uses martial arts, which of course, has to be Asian, which would make that racist. I don’t think the druid looks anything like trump, not even the right hair color. He does look like a hobo though.
That’s because it’s one of those problems. No idea what is baffling about veteran players being pissed that the graphics overhaul also came with an unwanted art direction change.
Yeah, can’t say I really fully get it since the face looks like a smidge in actual gameplay even with a large monitor. I will say I don’t think the redesign looks particularly good up close, but again that’s an extremely low priority for me in regards to why I enjoy D2.
This is one of those cases where I get where people are coming from, but it’s mainly the degree that it bothers people where you kind of lose me, but hey people have different priorities for what they like about the game I guess so I won’t go as far as to say others shouldn’t care. I’ll leave it at that.
