and before the patch only 60% is a massive nerf , also im still not sure is 4 frame . this is really a dump change because to have 200 ias from the gear this let you 0 option of choice of gear . this what im saying so many time before
and +10 and +20 weapon are unplayable now , i test everything from white weapon to 0 to 200 ias :frowning: so sad of the end result , the dev repeat history with the Shape Shifting druid :frowning: on the ptr

Two handed weapons yes, one handed dual wield has gotten very strong. You’ve got real alternatives to grief. For example, double death ettin axes or oath ettin axe + death ettin axe. And initial hits of short wws connect as you see in the video. Those are free hits at frame 4 and 9 regardless of weapon speed.

this is very bad the dev make the gap bigger from dual wield and 2 hand this not what i call balance but incompetence 2hand will be unplayable bye bye ik set and the dev try to update and balance the set item , just all no sense , the gain are still very limited the basic attack restriction are just dump , dual wield Grief will still be the way to go because the basic attack ias ask, with no restriction i will be agree death will be kool sadly is not in my opinion . btw in your test is nice to have 1 white weapon with no stats and only add ias from the gear from 0 to 200 also not sure i understand the point of a 8 player game because you need to ear the noise your weapn hit , sadly in 8 player game you have so much noise you can not ear the frequency you hit monster

Oath Ettin average damage barely breaks 325 average damage on a perfect roll. Oath ED has a 130% range.

Death, on the other hand, has no IAS so good luck hitting max frame without sacrificing massively in other slots.

If anyone thinks this “fix” is a buff to WW should go try throne room on HC…

So far they results are really depressing… This …guys busted 2h ww and BUFFED 1h dw !!

2h ww was just for the looks , every 1 knew 2dw is better … now dw is Even further .

This is sad beyond explanation, was it too hard to keep the the same old ww BPs and just allow outside wep IAs to contribute to reach said Bps? Was it a sin to allow ebotz thunder mauls /warpikes/glorious axes to reach 4f per attack While STILL being INFERIOR to stupid dw GRIEF?

In throne room where a barbarian will spend a majority of his time leveling to 99, even the “buff” to 1h DW is a NERF. Decrep kills all gains… :rofl:

Only been theorycrafting Barb, Sorc, Zon, and Druid builds since at least 1.09.

Was the first person to have a 6 aura pally Bear when 1.10 dropped :rofl:

This ladder the only death we had in out private Baal runs was a Frenzy barb who basically got 1 shot from MSLE Conviction a few runs before 95.

on my side i use to be number 6 in the new ladder 1,10 , sadly i drop everything in the end , because i`m playing again 5 player or bot call vet playing 24/ 7 , back them the ladder speed run use to be a lot slower compare today , also 1,10 really sock 1,09 player

I am having a blast in hardcore ladder as a barb:

I traded for mal rune and death cleaver by farming keys at the countess. I still don’t have anni or torch but he is fun and kicks a**.

happy for you having fun , but for me having higher standards .that barb is very bad ,better to not play in my case , i guess you dont really know what is a real chill build not playing Iceblink in classic 1.05

Not my problem you can’t adapt with whatever you get during ladder. I’ve got beast+ grief zerker in nonladder if that’s your so called higher standard. To me, you’re a grumpy old man :smiley:

Then hi mister noob, you get 2 more hitchecks during the first 8 frames with dual weapons. I am using it, you never did probably because you didn’t use the new ias table. I am using dual wield double checks and find item synergy.
He is work in progress. In time, I’ll get double grief. What’s your deal? Oh, you didn’t play ladder so you don’t know barbs don’t run around with griefs yet.

If decrepify slow literally ruins WW Barbarians, you have to wonder why there one of the new Helm runewords literally did not read “Cannot be Cursed”. I would have called it “Righteousness” or “Blessing” or something. It would have made you immune to Amplify, Decrepify, Lower Resist and Iron Maiden. It would have been a powerful and desirable runeword.

Adding such a thing would have been an elegant fix, particularly in a helm, since a barb have the option of making it in a barbarian-specific helm.
