Where is the Nintendo Switch 2 update? I’m shocked there wasn’t any mention of an update coming for Switch 2, when D2R is on Steam now and the DLC dropped today.
Please update the graphics to 1080p/60fps at minimum. Releasing the new DLC without a graphical update feels like a disservice to the community and the console.
I’m bummed out there is no switch 2 update. Sad day. I can’t bring myself to buy this until it runs as it should. I certainly won’t buy a whole new console just to run an old, albeit awesome game. Let’s hope they give the switch 2 an update soon.

Seems like they release the Warlock update without a switch 2 upgrade.. 
Looks like a miss opportunity for a switch 2 upgrade bundle that include the Warlock. 
Really hoping this happens. The RoW update was greatly appreciated, but a Switch 2 upgrade would be super awesome. I’d even settle for a 40fps mode if for some reason it can’t maintain 60.
Please Blizz. You gotta do this. I would love to play on Switch 2 but I’d want the resolution and frame rate that goes with it!
1080p/60fps + mouse support would make this an instant recommendation. Go Blizzard!
I would buy resurrected and the expansion in a heartbeat if they updated it for switch 2. Until then I’m going to pass on it unfortunately
It’d be good to know if an update was in the works. If I knew an update was coming I’d probably buy it.
It’s unfortunate we can’t get a straight answer from Blizzard. I asked twice via support tickets and both times got the exact same canned response that had nothing to do with my question.
They used to communicate with their customers. Once upon a time before garbage AI.
You should not expect a response from Activision on this issue. They have dropped support for the switch and couldn’t care less what happens to the game. Activision has been pathetic since before purchasing blizzard and continues to shine in just how pathetic they are.
They haven’t dropped support for the Nintendo Switch. The new DLC released for the Switch at the same time (day and date) as PC and other consoles, which still required a considerable amount of development. Blizzard is using Reign of the Warlock to gauge future developer priorities and create a developer roadmap. I suspect a Switch 2 update is already in the works, and if not, it will be now with the success of the DLC
I own the game on PC, PS5 and Switch 2.
I bought the expansion on PC so far.. but if they dropped a Switch 2 update I’d buy it on that also in a heartbeat.
I’m looking every week for a 60fps patch for Switch 2. Love this game and will buy the expansion as soon as the patch is released.
I wonder why it is taking so long!
I check every few days myself hoping for some official statement with a possible patch for switch 2.
I really hope they are brewing something up. The game really needs 1080p / 40+fps in handheld mode
The current switch 1 version has terrible ghosting capped at 30fps also the 720p just looks gross on the 1080p display.
Please blizzard just acknowledge and if you have no plans let us know so we can stop checking back.
If its money you require im sure 99% of the switch 2 owners would gladly pay $9.99 switch 2 upgrade patch.
An update with 1080p and 40+ fps would be amazing. Given the performance of new releases and recent ports on the Switch 2 (Fallout for example), D2R could really benefit from a patch or native Switch 2 version of the game
