Any idea of a release time? It will be a global release I assume centered around a convenient US time so could be strange hours in Aus/NZ.

Most likely around the working hours of the blizz/vv office, which would be either California (Blizzard) or New York (VV). I am sure somebody else can pinpoint it more accurately.
I would also assume that they do not release it at 7:00 am and are prepared for a long stay in the office during launch.
If i were you, i’d take a good nap and join the crowd on your friday (thursday?) after the initial technical disturbances have been cleared out.
As nice as it might be to play it “from the start”, you might be dodging alot of frustration by finishing your healthy sleep, mate.
It’s listed as 24th in the aus launcher. Assuming it’s 6am Sydney as some other games are that time.
