No it doesnt have to be lvl 1 skills, but i try to lower req level of skills anyway. But i dont really want to break the 10 10 10 rule for skill tabs tho.
Buff to MF is interesting but I feel like its too mcuh as barb is already best mf character in game with find item
Well now its worst char for leveling. But the issue i see as bigger is that it would be must have skill , same goes for MF bonus. I dont really have another skiller which basicly you have to level up.
not necessarily
you can balance its progression to be great at early lvls and worse at later ones
making it good for leveling and early hell and almost insignificant for endgame farm with grief for example
while we are talking about skill points
for my mod, i made a cube recipe that uses standard of heroes, a facet and one perfect of each gem to create a book of skill
it sounds imbalanced if we see it with bnet eyes and open trade, but for solo endgame its wonderful to have another thing to do than hunting for better versions of things i already have and not to mention it would take ages just to completely upgrade only one char
I find Flayers are quicker and more consistent, maggot eggs take a little while to spawn and hatch and hags donāt always spawn, in my opinion anyways.
Maggots are insane if you need a boatload of rejuvs though. So many potions.
Guys please forget the corpses :), grim ward and find item already use them. It can be shout doing buffs, various negative effects on monsters or even dmg.
Iām jealous of the fact that you can post direct images. I canāt even post links yet. Sigh.
Blizzard assumes Iām going to post some āselfiesā because of my low post count. xD
Anywhoo, buffing str/dex that way is a very median thing to do, and Iām not sure if it quite fits with the rest of the game. Plus I could see players using it mess with peopleās equips and stats. A sudden boost in stats would mess up others stat distribution in a abusable or confusing manner in multiplayer when playing the game as intended.
Its for offline mod i work on, so thats not the issue.
Its just examples of stuff you can make I did in past for my old d2 mod. I wanted to show something what you cna do as I dont want to see more āusing corpseā skills
No worries, I get it. Just saying stat boosts like that present awkward interactions in multiplayer. Iām all for things like Natural Res for the party, or life rep, or even a self damage/ar/ias boost akin to Burst of Speed/fade.
How about a skill akin to PoEās animate weapon? You shout on a weapon, and it animates to attack monsters a certain amount of times (1 time per durability point?), dealing its weapon damage.
Probably too complicated to implement, though.
That, or a reroll item shout, that is a find item shout that, by destroying an item (no corpse needed), has a chance to drop a new item of the same item category (not usable on runes)?
Or you could go a totally different route and have a stunning shout on the left part of the tree. It deals no damage but causes a stun to nearby monsters.
I never wait for eggs to hatch, I run past then to other areas where dozens of baby maggots are new to the world. I always check for hags in the Outer Steps and the River of Flame, itās just a quick look. I spend the majority of my time in acts 4 and 5, so I donāt think to hit the abundance of Flayers in other acts.
I just recalled a memory farming Cold Plains some time ago for 40 full rejuvies to trade for a Deathās belt. He waited for me in town while I horked the hell out of the Cold Plains.
