So they updated Diablo 2 and now you can’t use each other’s portals… and even worse, they shrunk the distance you can see each other on the map.
Who in their right mind releases such a beloved game to amazing reviews and really makes players happy… and then screws it up a couple YEARS later?
Seriously, who approved this? Have all game companies lost their minds lately?

Wow that’s another reason for me to play offline solo. Else I’ll have to join games where players are at similar levels and all have access to waypoints. Player’s teleporting ahead can’t help those who can’t.
OP is smoking really good stuff. Nothing changed. OP most likely high as a kite and not recognizing he is not in party with other player.
OP has been playing for a long time. OP was just playing today (on XBox) and the game has changed as I mentioned. And, it’s a change for the worse and a lot of us are really frustrated with the changes. No smoking here.
I wish that was it. I’ll look to verify, but that’s never been the problem. I play with friends and family (don’t play with randoms). I just know we are all frustrated.
Then you’re the only one here with that issue. If this was an issue only to Xbox players. I’m sure reddit or other forums are talking about it.

Like what version are you playing? How long has this been going on?
I play mainly on the Switch, nothing changed and neither would they bother making changes for just one platform when they can barely afford to keep the lights on in this game. OP share what you smoke
