Unable to join in-game party

I am on XBox series X - D2R.

Since the Warlock update, parties seem broken. I am unable to join a party in-game nor is auto-invite handling party requests.

On the night the warlock DLC was released, I was having a lot of issues partying up with other players in game. Auto party didn’t work. Everyone had to turn off auto party and then manually invite each other. Also sometimes the invite button wouldn’t pop up so it would be impossible to party with someone. Please fix these bugs before reset!

When viewing the player/social tab, the invite button doesn’t exist. I did input a support ticket, which was useless, as the “Game Master” didn’t even bother respond to me about the correct game, and due to that, a solution that does not work (Ticket 108225578 for reference).

This completely breaks the “Online” mode for gaming.

I’ve been seeing the same issue. The “best” thing to do is disable the auto join in the settings but then you have to manually be invited and click accept. Even then you can end up in a broken state for several games where you won’t see anyone’s invites. So terrible.
