There’s a guy on Americas SC Ladder that makes a game every single day called “I hate tr*ns” (censoring so I don’t get banned). The description is also transphobic every time. He sits afk in this game 24/7.
I’ve reported him every single day for the past week, and I’m sure I’m not alone. Yet evening I log on and see his new game.
I know this game isn’t probably moderated by a person, but surely the number of reports he’s getting should set off a bot or something? This is absolutely ridiculous.
Maybe they hate trains and just misspelled trains. Report and move on. If you’re a train lover and are offended about them possibly misspelling trains, report and move on. If they do something about it, fine. If not, it just shows that Blizzard has their blind eye and deaf ear on this game. Not worth risking a brain aneurysm over.

Learn to deal with it. There are people that will never accept the trans community. I’m sure you’ve experienced this in real life on the street at some point in your life.

The person is undoubtedly doing this because he (rarely, “she”) gets some juvenile thrill by knowing that he has annoyed or upset you. By going off on a tangent like you are doing, you are giving the idiot who is doing this, the satisfaction that he so desperately craves.
Just go somewhere else, where the players don’t use “naughty words”. Problem solved!

You’re undoubtedly right about Activision / Blizzard, but they’re simply a capitalist company trying to generate “shareholder value”, just like every other large capitalist company. It’s pointless to critique them specifically when you don’t apply the same critique to all their peers and competitors.
Notwithstanding all that, IMO the real issue here is how certain types of people get “triggered” by certain types of speech, which these individuals think is “offensive”.
What’s different between now and the late 1990s is that although there have always been juvenile idiots who think it’s “cool” to engage in childish trash-talking, nowadays the issue has become so polarized and politicized that the FIRST demand being made, is always, “ban!” or “cancel!” the “offending party”. (And note the similarities with equivalent disputes on Social Media.)
Of course, neither Blizzard nor any other on-line game company could possibly accommodate all these mutually exclusive demands. They would get left-wing extremists angrily demanding that they ban right-wing extremists, and vice versa. They would get Serbs demanding that Croats get banned and vice versa. They would get Israelis demanding that Palestinians be banned and vice versa. (Should I go on?)
The only WORKABLE “solution” (if you can call it that) for Blizzard, or any other company in their position, is simply to ignore all of these requests and leave it to the players to block (squelch) each other. Any other approach will end up causing far worse problems than it was meant to solve.
That would be fine IF… the game allowed the user to ignore more than what, 50 accounts? AFAIK the original game didn’t have a limitation. Blizzard dropped the ball on that one. And they haven’t done anything to fix it during the time the game has been released! Almost makes you think it was intentional so they could blast us with spam to sell their items from a “night business” of running bots and selling items to keep the game profitable. I’m sure that’s probably not the case, but stupid crap like this makes you scratch your head and think it is the case.

Neo-Blizzard can’t figure out how to implement saving a block list text file to the client’s computer, so to conserve precious server space for their strictly limited 9kb character files, you aren’t allowed to block that many people. Every byte counts!
