Time for the lightning ravens/Storm crows

No i’m not.
why shouldnt the damage they do be increased?
you just change the type.
and even if they wouldnt scale, you can increase the scaling they get from other skills and increase their damage.
its just playing with numbers.

We dont need every single summon to do one type of dmg but to add effects to summons.
Beside SW doing cold instead of magic, other summons are ok but it would make the build far better if they add DW to do bleed effect and bear to do crushing blow.
And remove the DV from ravens replacing other curses.

Well you need something to rival the summ necro.
AMP is just too good.

Which is you either change spirits somehow or buff summons.
And you can either buff them to have different types of damage or have abilities.
I would rather go with types of damage, as it is easier to balance than give them abilities.
If I would give them abilities, it would be things from druid skill tree, like rabbies, fire claws, etc.

I would give wolves and bears passive bleed and crushing blow only as a last resot.

But yeah, I would remove DV from ravens or make it in a way it doesnt interfere with curses, rather stacks with them.

If you change the type of dmg then any aura will be useless, wolverine spirit will be useless as well.
I dont like that idea tbh. Bleed and CB is something mandatory imo cause we talk about bear and wolves after all.

I dont believe that putting magic damage to spirit wolves and making it actually be influenced by any aura is that much of a problem programming wise.

As i told you, this is the only i personally prefer for SW is from cold to magic dmg.
As for any other type of dmg , i like as it is with the add of CB and Bleed effects

Got an idea for Spirit Wolf improvement - make it more transparent (it’s a spirit after all), but more importantly make it not collide/block with other summons, allies and each other. That way a pretty common occurrence I spot which is spirit wolves, thanks to their teleport, are often 1st near an enemy, and block/delay your more powerful summons and mercenary reaching the enemy.

For me, the biggest weakness of a pure summoner is the damage penalty to bosses. I believe there is a 75% damage penalty for summons in Hell to bosses (I could be wrong. I don’t remember where I got this information).

If the bear can gain CB, that will be a big plus, as the bear can attack quite fast.

In the other parts of the game, the summoner has been doing surprisingly well for me.

As to the ravens’ DV overwriting curses, that is truly not ideal. It is pecking out of enemies’ eyes, not cursing them with a curse. Logically it should not be counted as a curse. I support that it coexist with curses. But this is more of a first world problem. As a SSF player, Lawbringer isn’t a guaranteed item.

Giving rabbies to wolves and fire claws to bear would be dope and fun and for instance make spirit wolves gain bonus cold damage from hurricane and make bear gain bonus fire damage from fissure/armagedon so u can have both summoner/elementalist and summoner/shapechanger as valid side hybrid builds.

Giving ravens Vengence type of hit from palading would be awesome!

so, it’s like a week into hardcore ladder and I still think that the birds need lightning damage. Having no source of lightning damage is annoying for the druid. I mean he is master of elements, right? Should have some lightning source. My vote is still for “storm crows” an upgraded version with X amount of points into summons (like 60) and they transform.

Please consider a lightning damage source for druids. Thanks
