Not really noticing higher memory or CPU usage when using this forum.
But I must note I usually have chrome running with 30+ tabs even when gaming and my CPU/RAM are both overkill for what I tend to do with my PC.
So maybe if your more close to the limits that I would have more impact and become more noticable.
