Things I would love to see on D2R

- 5 flags uppon creating a character, the 3 ones we already have: “Pre Expansion” “Hardcore” and “Ladder” but two additional ones: “Solo-Self Found” and “Ressurected”

The “Ressurected” flag would be the game with all the changes they are implementing, and without it, the LoD like it used to, without TZs, runewords, and other changes that they will bring along…

- I would love if they added Shared Stashes into the Classic (Pre-Expansion) version of the game… if they want to keep Classic without changes, the “Ressurected” flag would help with that… having a ‘Pre Expansion’ “Ressurected” flag character, I’d have all the shared stashtabs in classic too.

- Currency Tab
-Unique Stashtab (Great for Holy Grail)
- Stackable Gems and Runes
-Rebalance of Unique Items

-Nerf of Runewords that are too OP like Enigma, Grief, etc

- New Expansion with an Extra Act and extra few classes (Like we had the LoD in 2001) another expansion would bring the game a lot of hyppe, and Blizzard a lot of Good money. I say Good money, because it would be deserved. Lately Blizzard has only delivered bad products, and a D2R expansion would save their honnor.

- Nerf to Mosaic Assassin:
ALL OF THIS AT THE SAME TIME:

Make the Maximum allowed diferent charges at a time to be only 3.

Put a cooldown on the habilities so they dont proc like crazy with the kick, like 1 second cooldown per proc on each charge.

Make the runeword expensive, like Jah+Gul+Zod

Make charges never expire with Mosaic (This would be a buff, but only for quality of life of the players)

Reduce the damage of the charges into some reasonable, strong, but not players 1000 viable

Make the skill effects a lot more Transparent and less bright, so the players don’t get blind after playing this build for years to come

I agree with the stashtabs. I would recommend reworking several skills, including the trees, because there are many skills that are only prerequisites and useless in many builds. The innovation of builds and not just the items that make builds happen, for example mosaic sin. Recalculating damage from certain skills and scaling with unique items, which are also very useless nowadays. There is a lot to change and redesign for the game to improve. Blizzard just needs to wake up to the franchise. :dna: Time is passing and this franchise will die with us. New players won’t see this game. When we die the game will die, so change while there’s still time. :stopwatch:

I would like to see some updates to D2R. SSF mode would be sweet. An expansion would be amazing!

Why is everybody whining about Enigma and especially Grief? I don’t see the point in nerfing something that has been around for so long. Nerfing grief is basically like stealing the walking stick of an old man; totally unfair.

I use Grief on all my meele characters cuz it is simply one of the few weapons that make meele characters playable, especially if they struggle with IAS. And yes, i have tried other options, but things like Beast just won’t get me anywhere. Do i want more variety? YES, PLEASE! Though to get more variety it is necessary to buff base weapon damage/durability across the board instead of nerfing the few viable options that we have.

Act 6 also won’t happen for obvious reasons, though it would be a bad idea to let Blizzard do the job, for all they ever do is ruining things. Therefore, I’m glad they won’t touch it.

Some awesome ideas in there  I think SSF would also give D2r ladder seasons more longevity because its the sort of thing everyone can enjoy  It would also be nice to see Blizzard give us a fixed season length.

Hahah imy favourite. Keep ignoring mosaic you people. We will hear the same thing about that in 5 years

I don’t ignore Mosaic, I’ve hated it since the beginning and I’ll always be for removing it from the game altogether.

I bet you would support nerfing enigma right after 1.10 came out as well. I do not see a reason in a time that passed to not adjust it to a reasonable level.
About Grief, I agree that is not op, thats only good melee weapon, but if we want to balance weapons nerf of this runeword ha to come up together with base damage buff.

I agree with all of these. Especially the nerfing of the mosaic assassin. The ridiculously bright graphics of mosaic along with the build being way too cheap to make is horrible. Many people, myself included, cannot even play in games with a mosaic assassin or watch streams with a mosaic assassin without getting really bad eye strain and headaches from the crazy bring flashing. This build has caused many people to need to wear sunglasses at their computer when they’re gaming which also causes eye strain to see aspects of the game that aren’t as bright. This is likely going to cause permanent damage to peoples’ vision over time if it isn’t fixed. The build could still be viable without having it be as broken as it is.

A lot of players cannot afford an Enigma. They refuse to use JSP and don’t enjoy trading due to lack of knowledge of price and their fluctuations. For me D2r is 90% trading and 10% playing the game especially early ladder days. The more I play and grind to level 90+, the poorer I become. The more I trade the wealthier I become. Players who know what items are in demand usually profit quite well early ladder with a fresh economy.

I agree that mosaic should be nerfed both in graphics and damage. The graphics are so bad that many people, myself included, can’t even play in games with a mosaic assassin or watch streams with a mosaic assassin because of the eye strain and headaches. The build is also way too overpowered for how cheap they made the build. They need to balance the cost of the build with the amount of damage it does.

Personally, I have never seen a problem with Enigma. If anything, it made the other characters competitive in comparison to the Sorceress, thus ensuring more character variety.

I guess people are so much against Enigma due to the fact that it has so many other strong stats, but I really cannot find much fault with that. It costs Jah+Ber after all, and expensive runewords should offer much.

Because they are noobs, and don´t know about D2, that simple, when I see a post to nerf Enigma I imagine the OP in my mind like the man in Goonies move.

If they really don’t nerf Mosaic, at least make the runes requirement higher like MalLoAmn or MalSurAmn.
Only need Gul rune to clear P8 easy dmg wise and tankyness is way to good.
I know many players love Mosaic build, dont want it to get destroyed/overnerfed.
If they have time or care about community, they could balance Mosaic perfect, but i doubt it they want to.

they tend to be 09 noobs who either really loved sorc in 09 or have rose tinted goggles so thick mosaic’s flashyiness doesn’t register at all

You know that enigma is the best armor for sorcress too? Right…?

The thing is Grief is too good for its rune cost, but it doesn’t elevate any builds higher than the power ceiling already enjoyed by the meta builds.

I’m not opposed to a strong melee assassin, but Mosaic:

  1. Introduces power creep by greatly exceeding the previous meta.
  2. D3 style “1 item makes the build mechanics work” issues. I’d rather they put some of the Mosaic mechanics changes onto the MA sin tree itself, and have Mosaic be toned down accordingly and have the overall balance so it’s a strong build, but not as OP as now. This would let you use other claws and increase build diversity.
  3. Some have issues with the screen clutter/spam and it causes performance issues/crashing, which is a problem.

I am in favor of buffing base weapon damage so that other expensive RW can surpass Grief, and also some of the old school rare unique items, but taking Grief away would leave melee in a really bad place.

I have 9 characters in level 99 during ladders on Hardcore expansion…

I have numerous enigmas and already found every single item and rune in the game, multiple times since D2R released…

I don’t think they need to kill enigma or grief, just nerf some of it, and buff other unused items, to change the game, have changes is good… It brings new players to the game and increase the community, builds Hype, etc… If everything remaings the same as it used to be, why would they even bother making D2R in the first place? They have a master piece in their hands and they need to use it.

Some of my 99’s list if you got curious to look on the ladders:

Diablo 2 Ressurected
World’s First to reach all classes to 99 on Hardcore Battlenet during Ladders
99 Assassin Season 3 Rank#1 Overall

99 Amazon Season 2 Rank#2 Amazon

99 Necromancer Season 2 Rank#9 Necromancer
