Hey, its a solid piece of software actually, I know. But, im just not into it anymore. At some point, i started ‘feeling’ the age. Its surprising how fast it picks up. But, its all good mate.

Multiboxing should be illegal, like seriously do you have extra arms? You have two hands for 1 keyboard and 1 mouse which means you can only control 1 character. Multiboxing is because people want to cheat like run swarms of bots or some type of automated scripts like in WOW where you have people running pvp with 5 mages that just 1 shot you automatically when they see you. And for the legit people that say “well it makes it easier to store items”, bro theres a shared stash and it takes 10 seconds to make a new character. BAN ALL MULTIBOXERS!

Lets face it, Blizzard will take about as much action against multiboxers as they do against the bots spamming the chat here in D2R.
On a side note:
I fail to see how running 2 games on one computer is somehow different than running 2 games on 2 computers.

Hmm. I’d not heard of ISBoxer. Might have to give it a go. I wonder if it will work with DOSBox. Would be fun to run 3-4 Lemmings at once.
That isn’t what I was multiboxing for. I was multiboxing in Diablo III to stop players from abusing the remove player from game during pubic bounty games.
BTW if if someone is manually swapping back and forth between the windows, how is that considered cheating?
Because they aren’t manually swapping, they are exploiting or using mirroring software to gain unfair advantage. if you want to manually swap you can manually logout and login to another account it takes 2 seconds.
I already have another computer on the way. It was time for an upgrade anyway…lol

I literally have 2 instances running on my computer, in 2 different ways…and neither are isboxer, nor are they associated with any cheats at all.
2 instances of what running?
d2ressurected…it’s really not hard…just time consuming to set up. took about 20 minutes.
Well, that’s certainly a definition of time consuming. I mean, wow, not even a full half hour. Ooo. So hard.

Mind explaining how you got something working no one else has been able to do? I can understand if you don’t want to explain it out here on the forum. So if not on the forum, contact me in Discord?
Theres like 5 different ways last i checked that you can use and that was like 2 weeks ago prob a few more other ways now.
Well lets run down the list of everything I personally checked into that DID NOT WORK:
Switching users in Windows
Copying the game to a different directory, renaming that folder then using the -launch on the actual game exe not the launcher.
Swapping Bnet accounts right after it’s loaded (You have about 2 seconds)
Using Process Explorer (the full instructions for this don’t exist so this isn’t usable as it stands)
Using a virtual Machine is unstable, the game crashes when using a WP
As far as software goes both Sandboxie and ISBoxer do not work and hotkeynet is a mirror software so it only works if you’re able to launch 2 copies of the game running prior to using it.

Looks like others are able to do what you said no one else can do. Also, why would you want to run two instances when you were complaining about D2R farmers and the farming is not what Diablo 2 is about…even saying Blizzard never said it is a farm game, but their own D2 website is literally littered with farming tips. 
What is in that reddit post is garbage and full of trolls posting crap to troll people.
Please learn to read because I never complained about farming.
The best way to do it is currently in Hyper-V. Virtual box.
You have to partition your GPU to allow the Virtual box access to the GPU so the game will launch because of DX12. Hyper-V has a new setting that allows for this GPU partitioning, but it’s very particular on how the VBox is setup. This takes time.
Once you get that up, it’s just installing game etc etc.
The other way to do it is through a program called “Process Explorer”, although my computer doesn’t care for this one as much. You have 2 separate installations of bnet and d2r, launch d2r from main bnet launcher, then use process explorer to close a certain event, then launch d2r from the OTHER bnet client logged into the other account.
