Teleport is one of the most loved but it is also the single most OP skill in the game, & one of the main reason Sorc are so popular & its a big advantages over every other classes.
You can like teleport, even NOT wanting it to change but acknowledge the problem.
The disscussion really should be, what then should be done to balance this.
Make teleport more easily available for other classes, Enigma lite, cheaper & more plentiful teleport charges stuff/rings, give every class comparable movement skills, or tone down teleport (& buff MF) to compensate. Then obviously the purist, donāt change anything.
I think tone down Teleport is the best. It make movement speed more meaningful, slow down the game (isnāt that one of the complain of D3 and other moderm arpg) , & make classes more balance as starter char for MF.
I do understand, people alraedy got used to the power, & taking this away make many upset. I loved the zoom zoom & protection Teleport give, but for the best of the game, & character balancing, i think this is the best approach. But making teleport more accessible (preferably ring or gloves with teleport charges) would be an alternative.
