I am using an Amulet on my Paladine that is granting him +3 to Defensive Auras.
In the Skill tree, Salvation and Resist Fire is groing both from 22 to 25. But the damage for Holy Fire is neither effected in the Character Sheet for the Aura or the additional hit damage , nor in the info box of holy fire itself.
Is it not intended to give synergiy effects, when it come from equipment?
Many thanks for an anser in advance. (I can upload pictures if you like)
Synergies only works from hardpoint skills. Often refered to as basepoints or base skills.
Meaning how many times u clicked that skill.
The only deviance to that is druid summon skill tree, there the total skill level works as syntenergies.
Thx, for the quick anser.
Can you confirm, that these “hardpoint skills” still give synergy to equipment skills.
If I have Holy Fire on equipment and run on a level 22 hard skill salvation aura?
Kind Regards
Synergies work on equipped skills.
Don’t really know what you mean with “level 22 hard skill salvation aura”. You won’t get more than 20points of synergy of a skill, because you can’t put more points into it. I.e. if you used 15 skill points to Salvation, Holy Fire benefits only from these 15 points, even if Salvation is being displayed as 22 from +7skill on your equipment.
Synergies are applied to all forms of skills: native, class-specific from items, oskills, charged, procced (chance to cast), aura when equipped. The synergy source requires hard skill points though.

Ok, I think than I got it!
Assumption: Two equipment pieces would give me lvl 15 slavation each. They stack to lvl 30 salvation. I put 15 points into holy fire aura and activate it. Result: No synergy at all.
2. Assumption: Two pieces of equipment would give me lvl 15 holy fire each. They stack to lvl 30 holy fire aura I activate it. I put 15 points into salvation. I get full synergy.
Did I got it right this time?
Many Thanks for your answer in advance!
