And apparently it’s a helmet runeword. Interesting looking if true, Pierce isn’t currently found on any helmets and Cannot Be Frozen is a rare helmet stat. Could be quite useful for Amazons or throwing Barbarians.
Imo throw Barb only - Bowa helm is pretty much locked, same for Frost Maiden (EleZon past patch maybe) and Java, because +2skill is better. (Although there would be option to replace Raven with SoJ)
I didn’t mean as a literal stat found on rare helmets, meant it’s rare to find as a stat on helmets.
Also I think CBF for Pul is fine, you sacrifice the helmet slot for not very good stats honestly, with the upcoming 2.4 changes I’d rather just upgrade a Death belt for another potion row and get my CBF from there.
I wonder if they intend for this to work with act 1 merc changes that gives them aoe attacks and let them pierce with those attacks… such as an act 1 merc that shoots freezing arrow and pierces and hits a lot more monsters.
This. Just wonder if the stats they have on Unbending Will, and Wisdom are the same/close to the original unfinished version of the runewords that are in the game files? Probably the same/close I’d say.
I believe Plague and Pattern were the only runewords in the old files that had actual stats with them… the others were just name placeholders I believe
Something people need to keep in mind is that these don’t appear to be endgame pieces, but items design to fill in the gaps in gearing for many specs. Amazons’ gearing, especially solo, is abysmal as some of the most useful pieces in sets like M’avina’s are Elite and found so late that by the time you get them you have either BiS already or close to it, making all that time spent getting the items wasted.
Probably the same/close I’d say.
