So this is being discussed in the console discussion area, but I thought I’d post it here so maybe someone from blizzard can see it.
Changes to the lobbies are looking nice, and it’s a step in the right direction, but online multiplayer remains in a broken state without the ability to communicate with eachother via onscreen and/or usb keyboard.
Is this a planned feature? Has it been discussed?
I don’t think this was intended, since it doesn’t make sense. I’m pretty sure no other game on consoles block you from playing with a friend with the same console/game just because of region difference. Before patch, the game handled the region switching automatically, but now they removed it and probably forgot to allow us to switch regions manually, like on pc. The most absurd part about all this is that they don’t give any feedback to the console community.
