I don’t see why you’d be mad. It was done the same way in LoD, just with in game friends. Streamers just did it on a larger scale.
Deal with it bra? What a joker. It is not just a multiplayer game is where you are screwing up. It is single player, it is private and public multiplayer. Game has options and telling me to deal with it because I suggested SSF is just being rude. Not like I was the OP complaining about teams boosting streamers. Just offering an more fair option to placate him.
It’s actually Blizzard you should blame.
But ladder is a joke, europa started ladder 2am and had multiple 2 hour realm down between 19pm and 21pm, those starts and realm downs are planned and are at a lot less prime game time in USA and Asia, not everyone suffers equally, no as usual 1 region (almost always EU) will feel it hardest.
They never cared and never will, hopefully Microsoft will change that, not a fan of them but atleast they look at the future instead of short cash grabs.
Why do you play online if you’re anti-social and prefer to play alone? I suggested SSF also genius.
The ladder race to 99 has got to be the dumbest and unhealthiest challenge you can imagine. I don’t understand why anyone would get excited to try it even with a team.
I would much rather see Blizzard try to come up with a challenge or challenges that aren’t just grind-fests.

I do not make so many gaming friends as a grumpy 48 year old. Plus I like to zone out and just farm, I find it relaxing. But I just do not think a race to 99 is a thing. If I was really racing, well I may die. I mean I would not sleep if really competing. I could do 3 days tops. We both got the idea from mini races in POE anyway. I never win them either so I just like to play. 
That I still play games at 48 is either sad, or amazing depending on point of view. Once again I was only offering a fair option because the OP and others keep making threads about how unfair a ladder is.
You should be mad… You have access to the same game and same means they had to win the ladder, and you failed!

Play offline than? It’s much more suited for lone wolves.
It feels empty offline and pointless. IDK why. I used to network play it back in the day for lan parties though. I think it is the dopamine from finding stuff despite the odds. Where as I would jut cheat my bottom off in single player and ruin the fun.

They didn’t ruin anything about ladder. You just expected to be super casual and have a shot. Your fault, not theirs. And anyone with brains would understand.
What’s the difference between a Streamer and some dude who plays the game 12 hours a day…You get to see the streamer.
Just because you can now watch the guy on twitch doesn’t mean this hasn’t been going on for ever. Ladder was never ‘winnable’ by anyone but a handful of players that don’t have jobs or families. Ladder is like running a marathon, only a few people running have any hope of ‘winning’ but there are still a ton of people running and taking part. Everyone has their own reason to play but winning isn’t one of them for 99% of the payers.

While I agree in this ladder a giant team of coordinated players boosted the winner. Not sure how he got picked but it made it too fast. Ladders used to take a bit. It is not like it used to be. But ya, I never was in it for the win. I just like to play in a fresh season with ladder items. I did run a marathon once. The midnight sun run in AK. My body was wrecked from it. I did not do that to win either but because I showed up drunk to duty and it was that or a field grade article 15. Not sure I made the right choice on that one.
Unless they make ssf ladder you have no chance. Even then you would have a small chance, if you take vacations from literally everything else in your life.

Yeah the whole thing is now just about them trying to sell more copies so they can abandon ship and hop over to their next money geter, DI.
@ OP: Although I understand your concern, and I do not like it myself, yet you have to do your thing. That people like you or me won’t win this race was clear before the race even started.
I mean you maybe saw yourself that others prepared the game for the main “racer”… so of course it is unfair to players who actually “PLAY” the game. To me its like “human botting” nothing more or less.
That you got in your terminology wrong btw, they do not “play” the game anymore. They just rush through it. So as advice, do your own thing, maybe we will get player 8 online soon, then we shall see…yet even then “normal” players won’t stand a chance. We gotta live with it and not get annoyed by it. Learn to laugh about it, because that people like that can even make money with it is really the silly part.
