Some skills should just be removed, and replaced with new skills

I saw this Millenial mentality too often in POE where people just want new new new and want to scrap the old… the overconsumerism version of videogame design

Why remove skills when you can make them better

it’ll take me just 10min and ill massively improvre the list of skills you just posted

Sorc:

  • 3 Ice armor skills
  • Inferno: now chains to nearby monsters
  • Blaze: The trail left behind now expands with time, leaving a conical shape blaze. Also slows target

Paladin:

  • Cleanse:
  • Conversion: the converted monsters now have chances of gaining additional modifiers while being converted
    *Sacrifice: now adds the sacrificed blood as magic damage to the attack
  • Sanctuary: Now deals damage to all type of monsters not just undeads
  • Thorns: Is now based on your weapon damage, works with spells and projectiles
  • Resist Fire / Cold / Lightning : passive max resistance with investment

Necromancer:

  • Blood Golem
  • Poison dagger: no longer an attack, now summons poisonous daggers
  • Poison explosion: Now more viable because a new mechanic is added " Poison length reduction" also works on the poison you deal making it more concentrated
  • Dim Vision:
  • Confuse
  • Attract: Attracted monsters now also buff the target they are attracted to
  • Terror: fleeing monsters drop their guard, they now have 0 defence

Druid:

  • 3 Vine skills: They just need number buff
  • Spirit of Barbs:
  • Arctic Blast: now generates small ice nova to monsters it touches

Barb:
Knockback is now a vector of melee splash damage
Melee skills now also have a physical damage multiplier based on their stamina. the more Energetic you are the stronger you hit

  • Weapon mastery skills should be condensed. For example “1 handed mastery”
  • Increased Stamina: Stamina melee buff
  • Find potion: its fine
  • Taunt: Like poe cries, gain a buff depending on how many monsters you taunted
  • Grim ward: now grants a random aura while its up
  • bash: Knockback therefor splash
  • Stun:

Assassin:

  • Blade Fury: now can target up to 3 targets in front of you
  • Blade sentinel: No longer does a crappy partern, it now works like guided arrow and chains through enemies seeking its next target
  • Wake of Inferno

Amazon:

  • Impale: damages enemies in that line of attack. More skills = longer line
  • Inner sight: Makes nearby projectiles change direction to aim this target instead. Ie: Inner Sight a council member, his Hydra’s firebolt will have a chance to not aim for you but him instead
