if i do fifty runs and don’t see a single rune, not even an El, i go somewhere else.
countess may not drop high runes very often, but i usually get two or three(edit: two or three low to mid runes) clearing each level of the cellar on my way down
i’ve also never gotten runes from trav council, and that’s part of my standard rotation. i do crypt/mausoleum/blood raven, then on to countess, then andariel, then ancient tunnels, trav, meph, then clear river of flame and CS/Diablo.
i tried the LK “superchests” for a couple days, but never got anything but gold and trash, and so i don’t bother with it anymore.
