Blizzard, would it be possible to do a server rollback from the time before the crash occurred? I lost my character due to the server instability, and this was outside of my control. Any assistance in recovering my character would be greatly appreciated.

Its back, but it affected the entire NA server. Many players got impacted by this.

Was playing D2r solo SC on US West and server crashed. Server has still not recovered after more than 30 min. I see massive stuttering every time I want to play, so I don’t try. This is why I play SC…
It happened so quickly for me, I don’t understand how I died… One moment I was at full health with my mercenary tanking, and the next… server disconnected. My heart was pumping because there was that small chance in the back of your mind “What if”. I’m curious about the game mechanics in case of a connection issue. Does anyone know how long a character remains active if a player lags out?
unfortunately if they have already brought the server back up and its not already rolled back, you’re probably SOL.
this would be the one time blizzard would do a rollback, is on a server wide crash… if they didn’t and haven’t after its been up and running for 5 min… its probably too late 
The connectivity right now is very spotty.
I would wait a couple of hours if your hardcore this is pretty dangerous.
Server is very herky-jerky over multiple characters. I created a new char just to verify it was not limited to existing chars. The new char was move-jerkstop-move-jerkstop, and so on. Same as existing char since the server crash. This only happens on D2r. No problems with other programs, so it is not my connection, routing, or my computer.
