Imagine being a developer on this project, telling friends and family and tearing up watching them play what you created, only for them to suddenly turn and look at you with daggers in their eyes. “Why? Why this hostility?” you ponder to yourself, and as you look over their shoulder, you see it. The “Cannot Connect to Server” logo you put so little time into working on. As they open their mouths to express their concerns, you rip the rug out from under them, and throw it on their heads. Panicking, you blurt out “We are aware of an issue that is affecting our authentication servers, which may result in slow or failed login attempts. We are currently investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.”, then, without missing a beat, you run outside, slamming the door behind you, jump into your lamborghini and drive off into the sunset, purposefully leaving your cellphone on silent in the passenger seat, face down of course.
