There are other threads to discuss the merits of personal loot. Moreover, you started talking about personal loot in relation to trade.

In contrast to what you said, instanced/personal loot is often tradeable. Initially in D3, all gear was tradeable and there was even an auction house. It was only after the auction house closed and new FinCen regulations became law that trading was restricted due to how the US government handles in game currency.
