No but why not have the option to have the majority?
Why do people who want change have to wait for the people who don’t want any changes?
its not about taking away the changes some people want. its about not messing up the game. if you toss a bunch of changes into the game. its about the same as tossing a grenade into the mix. its just going to mess the balance that has worked for 20 years, even with all its problems. if you do it slow you might be able to keep this game around for another 20 years or longer.
Messing up the game is your personal opinion.
I can think of at least a dozen Qol’s that would make D2 better in my opinion
And those aren’t even ones I’d consider core changes.
i didnt say which changes are good or bad , in fact i didnt say any changes at all specifically. i just said i hope they dont mess up the game. that should be the only goal to get started after that figure out what works best for this game. not every mod or update on every game works for every other game.
No but you are saying it should release with nothing but then slowly add things.
I’m saying it should release with some Qol’s as options and I don’t understand why no change people should get a release but change people don’t.

that is because once its added, its unlikely to be changed back. once you put it in its very hard to take back out. you can always add more content but removing it is almost impossible.
Ohhhhhh I see you seem to be missing the options part I keep saying.
Optional, not “it must be”
Also I’m just talking Qol’s.
Content is a whole new world.
But there are mods, so its a moot point…
Well of course, 20 years old game is far from perfect and need some new content to be more replayable again ![]()
I mean Diablo 2 has amazing replaybility but there is still space to improve and brig some new stuff.
Im a purist and had no idea about survey… i believe numbers are incorrect as most purist dont sit whole day on forum and trying destroy game with did not came out yet
Who is this Rhykker? Your classmate?
This isn’t cooking where adding too much salt ruins the recipe. They can remove and add features or make them optional as much as they want.
Rhykker is a youtuber who among other things comments on many games but covers weekly Blizzard/diablo news. He was spotlighted on the Battlenet launcher for awhile. You can find his youtube channel by searching his name there. Arguably, he is one of the most well-known diablo-related youtubers on the US at least.
Not interested in youtubers, thank you.
However blizzard is.
The popular ones like Ryhkker will get access to the the Alpha because Blizzard sees the value in giving them access
Why? For not watching an overhyped d3 streamer? Start to think why MrLlamaSC was invited to blizzcon and not some amateur.
Chuckles a little bit. He did a interview about D4 with the Blizzard bigshots during Blizzconline.
Diablo 4 Interview: “It Was A Day 0 Decision.” Lead Developer Thoughts - YouTube
D4 interview. Ok. No more questions. xD
I mean d4 suits him rly well. Like d3.
Unfortunately, d3 players will take control of the “community feedback” that blizzard will get about the d2 remaster, they are more, that is a fact and it is sad for d2.
With much changes it is also not going to be hard to call false advertising so i still have hopes.
