I am not regular schmuck it’s a youtuber, but thank god your “smart” brain isn’t working and everything coming out of your mouth is what supposed to be coming out of another hole
Please stop cheating and this won’t be an issues for you. Just like how no JSP users get banned cuz they’re not cheating. Try to be more like them.
Like others have said, he was trying for 1k baal runs which…takes a loooooooong time to do. Someone should not be banned for playing his favortie game. My god if that was the case could you imagine how many WOW players would be banned for playing 24/7 ( edit) i have heard of WOW players getting suspended for trading LEGIT mass amounts of gold to guild mates, even though they just farm all day
If you want to get uniques in most effective way, you have to do fast repeat runs, full clear runs sucks for that because white mobs have pretty terrible chance to drop uniques. It always depends what is target loot. Terror zones made fast elite runs even more better than full clear runs.
Playing in less effective way means finding less stuff. Not more.
And regularsmuck is unbanned again btw so no, it wasnt the MF/run counter.
Durance is actualy one of few places where its worth clicking objects as densitiy of them there is huge, Also they can drop up to Ber. And yeah elite there can drop higher TC than mephisto so its worth killing them on the way down.
Doesn’t necessarily have to be the case.
Gets banned by the automatic system because of the run counter, appeals, finally gets through to an actual person, that person gives it a glance, unbanns him.
Then he resumes playing, gets banned by the automatic system again because of the same thing, again needs to wait for manual unban.
It may not be his fault technically, just the way the automatic system works. Maybe they have no way of making an exception for this or something and it will keep happening.
Common Sense:
1 -He is the ONLY streamer that was knowingly banned. Sweet Phil, Cooley, and many other well known streamers run consistent runs without getting banned.
2-Last month he posted on Youtube how he ‘Ran terror zones for 24hrs straight’. That is impossible as one needs to sleep, eat, shower, bathroom, etc… Either he is super human, has a 3rd party app helping him, or he shares his account which all are against the EULA (except being super human).
I am not saying that he is cheating, because honestly, I do not know, but I am saying that his videos on incredibly long runs are very hard to imagine, and they do not appear believable. On another note, Blizzard does NOT ban people doing long consistent runs. They have a developed program called ‘Warden’ which detects 3rd party apps, macros, etc. running in user accounts, and that is how people get banned.

As far as sustenance/waste:
1: He probably has a minifridge/microwave right next to him, he is eating MRE’s, has his gaming setup in front of a toilet.
2: Avoided eating solids for 24 hours before the 24 hour gaming binge and stuck with a mostly liquid diet before and during the gaming binge. Might have even used some laxatives to flush his system of solid waste. Instead of having a toilet gaming chair, he could get by with a catheter (ouch) and a urine bag, or a similarly “engineered method” to avoid the pause of going to the bathroom.
As far as fighting sleep:
He slept for a good long while before the 24 hour binge and/or is consuming copious amounts of caffeine or other substances to stay awake. Needless to say the use of substances of any kind to fight sleep is not good for ones health.
Some people can go without sleep for a long while before adverse effects from sleep deprivation become a problem.

Me? I gotta have at least 5 hours of Z’s a night. Preferably 7. And I’d never do something like this. I can’t play games more than about 2 or 3 hours before I have to get up and walk around for a bit.

but now you’re not even allowed to play the game “too much”?
I think it’s time to introduce “zone reset” functionality so you can simply go to a way point and force reset the zone you want to run so you can stay in game.
The anti-cheat is detecting rapid succession game creation, not the act of quickly running the same target over and over.
but then they’d have to make a new anti cheat technique to detect bots using that feature… The vicious circle never ends~

It’s very possible to do a 24 hour marathon, only taking bathroom breaks. I’ve done so many times with RPGs in my SNES days. Hell, I did a 72 hour marathon w/ only bathroom breaks (and pissed off the adults in the house as I monopolized the TV the entire time) when I rented 7th Saga from Blockbuster back in 1995. This was before things like 5-hour Energy were around. With the proper setup you can stay afloat for a full day. Sadly I can’t do so anymore because as I’ve gotten older and especially in recent years with my health issues, my stamina has gone way down. But for someone younger and/or healthier than me? 24 hours is easily doable.

He has been banned 3 times now. He is not cheating - Blizzard’s AI is garbage.
He lives in Australia, home of the worst internet quality on the planet, and an entire ocean away for the closest servers in California. I think that has something to do with his bans.

Players have always played 24+ hours in a row at the start of ladders, I use to do 18 hour sessions all the time. 24 hours streams are always happening on Twitch. It’s normal streaming behaviour.

They have a developed program called ‘Warden’ which detects 3rd party apps, macros, etc. running in user accounts, and that is how people get banned.
Warden was thrown in the trash a long long time ago. D2 black hat script writers have always been, and likely always will be, a decade ahead of Blizzard’s talent.

Gets banned by the automatic system because of the run counter
Nah i dont think so. If that would be the case, he would be banned fast. Not after 700 baalruns or what ever.

1 -He is the ONLY streamer that was knowingly banned. Sweet Phil, Cooley, and many other well known streamers run consistent runs without getting banned.
Not that amount of runs online. And no he is not only streamer being banned. There were others, just not famous ones.
well, he is unbanned again.
This means the second ban was also FALSE positive.
He was banned again for the 3rd time.
!!! that is popcorn stuff
where did you get the info about that - his youtube channel is up to the second unbanning
If there was only a NPC or something ingame that shows what you ran and how much and be resettable or a lootfilter with ilvl so people don’t get banned using 3rd party things, that should be in the game in the first place.

where did you get the info about that - his youtube channel is up to the second unbanning
Probably nowhere, he likes to troll a lot on forums
