Question: Which skill is the most deserving of a rework?

Maybe 3/4 Blizzard damage!

Paladin’s Vengeance needs some serious love
Splash damage, better synergies
The same could be said about Fire Claw, it needs splash damage
Devs need to be aware of how tedious is to use single target skills throght and throght

Vengeance doesn’t need splash

But I tweaked some stuff

As i already mentionned, I reworked the synergy system to work with affinity traits

So for vengeance, since it’s a fire,cold lightning, attack skill, all those type of skills buff it and get buffed by it

About the single clicking, I also changed all auras to now be provided by a summon, which allows you to have your right click free for attacks since right click was designed for them (holding it auto attacks everything you encounter)

A summon was chosen because we can’t hardcode the game to allow auras on left mouse button . It’s immortal, not targetable, quick and non-aggressive so it always stays next to you. It’s limited to 1

Note: some items provide the summonless aura still

I also had something in mind for vengeance but having no hardcode it’s almost impossible to do. I wanted it to trigger extra damage ticks for damage holy auras. So everytime you hit it triggers an extra one, adding an Aoe layer to the skill without going the boring Splash everything melee

Got 2 options left

  1. add vengeance as a synergy for holy auras minion count. So let’s say each 20 vengeance level you get an extra holy aura minion. At level 40 vengeance you get 3 maximum holy aura minion

  2. add vengeance as a synergy for the tick rate of holy auras. Meaning the the more you invest in vengeance, the faster those auras trigger their damage
