Itemlevel is different from stats. A newcomer can’t rate 20% CB vs. 50% CS, but if the 50% CS item had +20 Itemlevel, they would use that as their final judge. Being a toggle won’t change that. A monkey is able to turn the toggle on without knowing what it means, and why wouldn’t monkey like to see this crucial information about their items?
It’s sad that the term “Quality level” is already occupied, otherwise that would be a good term to use since it does not have a direct connection to established pattern.
I can already see threads by newcomers popping up: “What does itemlevel mean?” “Why is highest itemlevel not better?” “Whats even the point of having an itemlevel if its not better?” etc…
As trivial as this change is for experts, for newbies it comes with a ton of confusion 'cause people don’t like to think.
