There is a persistent lag and stutter and game freeze that occurs with most every in-game transaction from cubing to entering portals, but also as everyone has noted- when identifying items, which is essential to the game as the entire concept is to find items and identify them.
This isn’t anything new being reported. In fact, I’m the guy who reported it Day 1 of RotW launch and every patch since.
The only difference now is I’m doing it to prove my case. I’ve now reported Blizzard to my state Attorney General.
I suggest you all do the same. Especially after the ridiculous response they provided to the AG trying to deflect my case.
They literally had the gall to say:

The user should report it on the Console Bug Forum and it would get dealt with.
HAH. What a lie. Checkmate Blizzard: I had already reported it since Day 1. And it’s already been evidenced by a slew of users.
In fact, my two other threads here are the highest comment counted threads in the entire forum. It’s the number one most echoed issue among console users.
No more hiding. The law will make this right.
You think you can sell a broken game to tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of users making millions of dollars and just ignore a critical issue that actively ruins gameplay and creates a risk in one of your primary modes (hardcore players are literally commenting the same as I have from Day 1: we stopped playing because it’s going to get us killed).
What you’re doing is the definition of fraud: you’ve sold a good or service that isn’t what the buyer was meant to receive and you’re keeping their money. And we cannot get a refund because we are migrated to your new game and there isn’t any going back.
But what’s worse? Even if we did the bug persists in Non-RotW as well despite having been brought on by the patches that came with the new DLC. So RotW or not, this is a problem for all players because of your insolence.
There is no way out of this except to fix it. So do the right thing. Or feel the pressure as every state AG in the US starts to get active reports about this.
This thread is for anyone else looking to report Blizzard formally to their AG. Reply with your state and I’ll walk you through the process until Blizzard is forced to fix the game or they are shutdown or brought to class action for scamming millions from their players.
It’s our RIGHT to bring this issue up and to post this. So don’t even think about deleting this thread. It’s already screenshotted and documented for my state AG along with all the other historical ones that are still getting comments to this day.
