Ever since the queue been added to console, we were unable to join each other in the game. This has nothing to do with peak time or not - when the queue is almost 0 and we can enter the character selection screen within 1 minute, we still face the same error.
“An issue occurred while communicating with the game servers. Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again.”
Every single time this pops out, whether who creates the room and invite the other to join.
Does this have anything to do with server region? One of the PSN accounts region is HK and the other one is Japan.
