As a Sorc it should be noted that it is really easy to craft Stealth and Leaf Staff runewords and spec Fire Ball. These things will obliterate Duriel even on Nightmare. I personally switched to cold only on Act4 Nightmare where there were too many fire immune mobs and my fire attacks got hit by high fire resistances. Then, Frozen Orb makes the game easy again until approximately Act 3 Hell.
