Spoiler alert; PoE doesn’t have as much RMT because its easier and more fun to grind.
D2 has D2JSP because people want to play end-game builds with items they can’t find after a thousand hours of farming.
Why else do you think there’s several threads asking for p8 here? Its not because people really want a p8 difficulty, its because they want some way, any way, to alleviate the chore of a thousand cow levels.

People who think PoE shi* don’t stink… Took me 3 seconds to find sites catered to buying poe currency and gear for cash. So, conclusion. PoE shi* smells like everyone else’s.

PoE doesn’t nearly rely on trade to git gud as much as D2 does.
Solo self found is far more rewarding in PoE. That’s why there isn’t an equivalent JSP for that game.
Hate to tell ya this but D2jsp has Path of Exile on it lol. Might want to do some more research.
RMT doesn’t bug me as long as they can keep the bots away. Human labor is kind of the capital of the game regardless of the flux that moves it. I’ll concede that it creates a strong incentive to bot though. D2r has sold more than 4m copies. Only like 20 of those players are in any kind of real competitve contention though. Anybody else is pretty much just playing at their own pace whether they admit it or not.
D2JSP is pure trash, where botters and cheaters of previous versions of this game can still profit from a decade of cheating.
There’s an obvious political metaphor to be made here.
