Pls remove den of evil as tz

blood moor has a tiny monster density and could be added on with cold plains and cave as its own TZ. that way it wouldnt waste an hours slot as a tz because its pointless
as for den of evil
theres literally 1 boss pack inside lmao

There’s so many improvements that can still be done to terrorzones, I’m pretty sure they either wanted to have some garbage zones intentionally or they just have no idea how bad some zones can be, which is worse.

It’d be nice if they’d add a %age cleared function to Terror Zones, then make the TZ switch to a new random one in 2 minutes once something like 80+% of the current TZ has been cleared. Throw up a small TZ progress bar or something.

That way we’d have the option of repeating the current hourly TZ, or just pressing forward in the same game running through random TZ’s as we clear them.

you know there are set up ammount of elite monsters per zone ? and they have the data

how stupid can one be to terrorize zone with 3 +1 elite packs

TZs are just plain awful.

i’ve said it a whole bunch of times already. and if this is how it’s finalized, the one and done method, just wow. these zones are not done, they give far too much xp. some of them are just boring / tedious to be in. some of them are too good in comparison tal rasha tombs anyone? has to be my fav anyway, then ya, you compare that to blood moor or even tristram, dark wood. etc. it’s like… uuh… what a waste of time. make a game kill 5 mobs. repeat… it’s actually just annoying to have those tiny zones.

and honestly who actually likes slamming an area for an hour and then just switching? WHO LIKES THIS??? the small / terrible zones wouldn’t matter if the zone switched in game after you kill the boss packs or a certain # of the monsters (kind of like dene of evil quest), would be more intuitive and fun and keep you in game longer. and if you really don’t like a tz, make NG it is a random zone ? something like that. either way, i’m pretty frustrated that they didn’t even think of any changes for it season 3, really shows how bad this dev team is…

thats the point, that they give more xp lol
it was deliberately designed like that to encourage people to level because blizzard realised how boring endless baal runs are. TZ’s was a great introduction to the game, its just that some are awful and pointless, den of evil being one hence the post.

ya but the amount they give is too much… like, way too much. the point was to give you other areas to lvl instead of just chaos and baal, but now, it’s like super sonic speed lvling in random places…

but its only too much as u put it, if its big monster density areas…
there would be no point levelling there if it only just gave you the tiniest bit more than baal runs lol

Allow us to run cs 24/7 so we can lvl our 20 slots to 99 in 1 ladder

Or maybe nerf experience gain (or simply cap tz level lower than 96). It would be better than having dead gameplay times, don’t you think?..

It would be cool if they would make Terror Zones affect the monster density and # of champion/unique monster packs on a case-by-case basis per map to even out some of these things, but only when those maps are TZones, so that regular progression/play isn’t disrupted.

At this point, I really don’t believe that Blizzard will do anything useful regarding TZs.

I would prefer choosing which TZ to run over the random hourly change, as I don’t have time to wait all day for my preferred TZ. I wouldn’t mind reduced XP in combination with all TZs active permanently, but I don’t see Blizz doing any of that.

I agree with that, which is a shame, because I don’t think they would need to put in too much effort.

NO, NO I’ve met DC in there and got my first Anni.

That has nothing to do with Terror Zones. Literally nothing. Not only can DC spawn whether it’s a Terror Zone or not, but DC’s level isn’t even affected if it’s a TZ, and even if it were affected, because DC’s drop is fixed to exactly 1 unique small charm (Annihilus), that wouldn’t change in a TZ.

Less exp per kill and lots more to kill. Density in TZ should be flooded. Nonstop mobs, but way less exp to compensate for added density. Blood Moor would be fun, right out of town, if it was packed.

A terrorized den of evil being completely skippable content bothers me far less then something like Tristram not being included in stony field, or forgotten tower in black marsh.

I despise all the whining about enigma, but those terror zones do create a disparity when farming tower or trist by teleporting compared to walking there.

If those two areas were terrorized with their overworld counterparts, it would make spending the time to find them worthwhile.

I’d add;
Pit and Tamoe Highlands.
Ancient Tunnels and Lost City.
Burial Grounds and Cold Plains.

Den of Evil can be TZ’ed?? HAHA! I wanna try that… LOL

I believe D2R was a venture to raise money to make D4. That’s my suspicion anyway.
