Swap to Hardcore, i think its the only place where atleast bots are fewer. Been a good experience this season, and people seems super friendly and up for playing.

Hard core is fine. I have a 92 auradin on hardcore its still tedious more so in hardcore to get xp with no community

Well it does indeed matter. You dont solve a problem by feeding it even more and the botconomy is mostly due to Blizzards incapability or total lack of willness to deal with the bots. Other similar games have done this with huge success, not saying they have no bots at all but they have reduced the problem to a minimum and u probably wont see bots running for more than a few days before they get banned

Huh which ones? I would love to play because I have played Elden Ring, Lost Ark, Torchlight, PoE, Last Epoch, all the diablo titles, runescape, all the major arpgs, they have all either botting/exploit/duping problemsâŚ
I didnt say they have no bots, i said some games have reduced the problem to a minimum. I have been a huge fan of PoE myself and even though they do once in a while have problems with exploits they usually get hotfixed within a day or two sometimes even faster. Even though u might see bots in PoE its nowhere near the massive problem u see in D2 and the economy is pretty much stable ladder after ladder, the only thing that really affects the economy in PoE is when they introduce new mechanics and ways of juicing, that can get out of hand sometimes. Another thing is they actually have an official trade site and u can list ur items for sale directly from stash tab without even leaving or going to the trade site, this makes using 3rd party sites like D2jsp more tedious to use than the official and prevents the legit players from ever using these sites.
Edit: Btw i knew a guy who tried to bot in PoE, it took less than 24 hours before hes acc was banned. You dont see that in D2

If u think that any of the bs u wrote in OP debunks anything u are even more delusional than i thought Its sooo obvious that P8 will be great for botting, just imagine being able to run permanent P8 without having to put in 3-4 extra bots/accs to fill the game or waiting for other people to join to increase drop chance. And then u can actually use those 3-4 extra accs to run their own bot P8 so instead of running 1 bot game u have 4-5 bots running simultaneously on P8 and running private games with pw with less chance of being reported or banned

I promise you they cant stop botters i mean you could implement a captcha or whatever to enter a game so many times or something but it would be redundant anyway based on how neurotic the rmt community is about exploiting and manipulating things

Yea⌠kind of insane they have internet access at the mental institution Clayclown and his wife Trollok resides in.
They can definitely reduce the problem to a minimum other games have done this before, the problem is they do nothing to prevent bots at all. What i can definitely tell u is that u dont solve a problem by feeding it even more, if u want to solve a problem u have to get to the root of it. They have to start actually banning bots and we are not talking the usual 4-6 month ban waves, it has to be done actively on a daily basis and after a while u will probably see a pretty significant drop in the numbers of bots. Problem here is i dont think blizzard even wants to solve the issue, from a business perspective it makes more sense to only have occasional ban waves every like 4-6 monts. This way they can be resonable certain that people will actually buy new accâs for their bots, now if they get banned every 2-3 days i bet u a lot of them will stop buying new copies for their bots and find some other game to exploit. Another thing is they never had an official ez to use trade site, this made it even easier for 3rd party sites to completely dominate the trading part of D2 and forcing even legit players to use these sites because ingame trading in D2 is very tedious and got even worse with the changes to lobby in D2R
And by the way, yes i have played this game since release even played D1 back in the days

pede, NO ONE BOTTING. is putting multple bots in the same game. itâs p1 botting.
and youâre right about p8 being wanted by botters. they would love it, but they also, wouldnât care either since botting is already working just fine.
and everything has already been said 1000000 times to these trolls in other threads. itâs like they have absolutely no memory and just keep on the ridiculousness.
While everything else u said is quite true this is not however. I do know many bots run solo but some of them also run multiple bots in the same game with different classes with support in mind and just to pick up items+ running different areas, setting up tps for next area etc. I have seen lots of multi bot games through the years of playing this game it happens a lot in fact and u can often see they have the same name too
naw, no botter is doing MF botting is public games with multiple characters. youâre⌠on something. would need video proof.
