Pindleskin has been Pindleskimping on drops for me in D2:R. He wasn’t that great in the original game either. I’m pretty sure he was nerfed a bit a while back in the original game to deter bots. (We all know how well that worked)
I got a Jah from pindles during week 2, but it is true pindles is not the most efficient way to get HR.
Yea, you are correct. He absolutely was nerfed in og.

Week 1 :I got 2 tal armor from pindles
Week 2: 1 socket Crown of Ages.
Week 3: Windforce.
Please start a new thread entitled - “PINDLESKIN DROPS BUFFED”
And jsut copy/paste those drops, no context, no # of runs you did.

I’ve probably done 2-3 thousand pindle runs, along with farming act bosses.
I’ve got:
4/5 Tal’s set (Minus Chest)
3/5 M’avina’s Set (Minus helm and Gloves) (Found the chest twice)
Ohm Rune
5/6 IK Set (Traded for the chest to make it 6)
2/5 Trang-Ouls
A lot of Elite uniques, tons of gold, gems, etc.
All three unique javelins, balrog, titans, the other lightning one. (my friend loves me now, since he plays a Javazon)
Seems like RNG to me. I found a M’avina’s chest, IK boots, and a Messerschmit’s in about 15 minutes doing Pindles, then nothing of note for the next 2-3 hours.
I guess “play more to get stuff” is the only real answer at this point? Maybe without the insane amounts of duping it feels slower because we’re not as geared as we used to be? Not sure.

Gotta do more than 100 runs.
Think someone said at least 1k minimal.
But do more than just Pindle.

The problem, well not problem but the “Catch 22” with pindle is.
Yes hes easy to access and a quick stop but his loot table is SO large that the odds of getting something ‘good’ from him are so low since he only drops, 2 items.
I have eh, luck with RNG and have been running him since a day or two after release, and he has given me 1 drop that hasnt been blue or yellow and that was Tal’s armor, later in last week, the rest of the time has been pure vendor trash. and that was 2+ weeks of running him, (not just him but he was the final stop)
And just after posting. Shako dropped.
he isn’t buffed, I did lot of mindless run of pindles, most drop were trash. Now I’m done farming him. it’s not like I am getting good stuff from pindles daily. I was trying to get nightwing and griffon and death fanthom from him and so far no luck.
an I am Tired of explaining to you that in no way shape or form was I ever expecting anything of value to drop. but I have never run any other super unique/boss 100+ times and not gotten at least one green or better quality item, yes the vast majority of those drops are trash and that is fine the point is, that quality (not value) of item drops from everything except Pindle for me.

D2 had very bad drops. D2R is even worse. Those who have good drops are associates of the game company. The rest who complains is put into a test player group under watch. It’s obvious to me now after reading many posts XD. At least I cannot shake that feeling now.
Please cry more. Nothing gets me more excited than someone whining like a baby about their bad luck. Maybe if you cry hard enough blizzard will give you loot.

Runes: Cows, Lower Kurast, Chaos sanctuary. never farm pindle for runes…
