@ PezRadar RE: Shapeshifting IAS

We understand the motivations for the change, but the results of the change are not what were intended. The WW and WB are now worse than they were. Perhaps they can use a greater diversity of weapons, but it is now to much weaker effect. The quirk of the previous IAS calcs gave the class a special flavor and charm to gearing them up allowing otherwise useless uniques to find a niche - it is not a bad thing.

Revert the change, and in fact do the opposite - either boost IAS from weapons further or add more skill based IAS to the forms to give these builds a fighting chance against the meta.

They can keep the frame tie to the human form IF they change the upper limit eias cap from 75 to at least double.

Or they should make fury, maul, fire claw etc uninterruptible if they want to keep their attack so slow. This would be the only other solution that could make the class playable.

posting this here for visability, good post documenting the problem and offering a solution

Even that post misses something important which is that druid base form has different frames for different weapon types. it’s only 19 frame for 1h weapons, 2h wepaons for human druids are 23 frame, even more glacially slow.

I want to put this video in here that was linked in another thread showing… wirt’s leg = 4 shael griswald = grief = beast Z etc, “yay all weapons are equal, and all weapons are bad!”

We need IAS like it was when D2R was released, that is IAS outside weapon counts (like in PTR) BUT the cap is 3 FPA not 10 like in PTR.

Additionally if we won’t be able to teleport, please provide a skill with FRW, all melees have it AND can also teleport, we have none.
