nothing they listed would change the CORE game.
sometimes i wonder if people really know what they read and writes.

Having played some of those mods, I completely disagree. They definitely make the game easier.
the “core”
and no, it does not really have to be lol.
Not really much people play diablo 2 without mods or something. You have a few thousand people who played Diablo, but 75% of them are bots.
Inventory management is a core part of the game. If the only thing to do was fight demons like in D3, and wait until the GR refreshes, it would be an empty shell of a game, like D3 is.
Inventory management is a sad excuse of a system. Charms weren’t even in classic. The gameplay will not suffer if there is a charm inventory.
Good, I am glad to see that Blizzard isn’t falling into the “do not touch even if it’s broken” trap.
Eagerly waiting for multiplayer beta to murder FFA.
That includes any inventory changes including charms, not just charms.
They literally said “we are not going to fix Diablo 2” from an interview a few days ago.

The issue blizzard is running into is they didn’t want another Warcraft 3 reforged but that’s what is happening before our own eyes! First blizzard has said we want a pure 1.14 no changes no changes… shared stash space and auto gold pick up… this actually caused some people to refund!
they never said no changes.
if people refund cause of stash and gold pick up then they ditten watch blizzcon or read anything about whats the game i about…before you could buy the game they said whats going to happen, so refund cause of this is just stupid.
But that would be the only inventory management related change unless you’re talking about auto sort also?
Gem stacking too, but charm inventory is the big one. Classic doesn’t have charms but it’s a much harder game, and a much different game.
LoD is a much easier game and you don’t really need charms. You are free to make space if you need more.
Oh yeah gem/rune stacking also. Idk that’s not going to drastically affect the game. If anything, it’s going to result in more possible trades as people can trade larger stacks of gems for higher runes or gear. Sounds like a win to me.
This
and then this
nor were Assasin and Druid
mod-poeple logic.
Yeah, but one totally changed the way that the inventory works. You went from being able to collect a decent amount of loot to barely having room. I don’t feel it was a positive change to the game. I’d honestly like them to leave charms out of D4 unless they have some kind of pouch for them.
I only wonder why people want to force in Charm inventory instead of actually nerf charms and make the game harder? If you had a limited amount of charms working in your inventory that would fix most of the issues no?
I’d be fine if they limited the amount of charms, but you’re going to have a lot of people mad and they’ll say it’s a nerf. I still don’t like the idea of them taking up inventory space though. I get the whole argument about power vs convenience, but it’s not really much of a choice when power wins 99% of the time.
I agree actually, i never said they working as they should i think developers when introducing charms never thought how awful it might get down the road Im just saying if we’re going with Charm Inventory then limit the charms.
It’s very similar with stackable runes and gems.
On CBN people that don’t have enough time to farm highest runes and gear can make up for it by collecting gems and low runes for others and you can make a decent coin by doing that and gear your characters in the process.
However if you can now hold dozen and dozens more of gems/runes then everyone will pick them up and collect for themselves this will kill off part of the trading.
After that interview, Blizzard literally sent out another survey asking for player feedback on 19 changes. Some have already been incorporated into the D2 alpha and some are not yet announced. It is clear that no final decisions have been made and additional changes remain on the table. Of note, one of the changes that Blizzard asked about again is a dedicated charm inventory that Blizzard considered a QoL feature.
If the goal was to appease just the purist and lose money then it’s fine but that’s not the case! Blizzard is now back peddling because it’s pretty clear by how dead these forums are and how little the hype is… The same people scream, rant, and rave about keeping the game the same and it was working until blizzard realized the truth… this isn’t going to sell copies! Most people like my self play mods and going back to a 1.14 doesn’t seem like fun at all! The multiplayer test phase is going to push the ffa vs instanced/personal to the brink and it will ultimately cost the game players if we do not get it along with all the proposed qol! The game with simply be a ghost town and then what??? Was it a great game after all ? With all the dupes , bots , hacks, and bugs? At the end of the day corporate will side with the masses and if it doesn’t you will have Warcraft 3 reforged 2.0! I mean rofl a major interview one day and a survey back peddling the next! I guess the people with the $$$$$$$$$$$ ran the numbers and you lose
